By accessing metryval.com or using any Metryval product, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These terms are between you and Metryval Pte Ltd, a Singapore private limited company (“Metryval,” “we,” “us”). The public operator byline on Substack, X (@metryval), and editor correspondence is the pseudonym Tomas Cantor, disclosed openly here.
Metryval offers a personality measurement instrument and related consumer products:

This section is load-bearing. Violations are a material breach and grounds for immediate termination.
You may not use Metryval, any Metryval output, or any derivative work for:
The P-01 exclusion is locked policy and applies across all surfaces (consumer Lite, paid Blueprint, Couples Pack, Connected, F500, future Discord and Slack bots, and the Personality OS API). The three-layer rationale is documented in the Policy Decisions Ledger (P-01) and is binding regardless of contract type or pricing tier. We reserve the right to terminate any account or integration that violates this section without refund.
Metryval outputs are reference patterns, not categorical types. The framing throughout the product is “your pattern resonates with X” — not “you are X.” This is structural, not stylistic: the underlying empirical natural cardinality of personality clustering is small (k=3–4 per Asendorpf 1999 / Gerlach 2018), and Metryval avoids the categorical-type failure mode by delivery-time assembly against framework-validated reference centroids.

Some products require an email address. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials private and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at privacy@metryval.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Current pricing is published at /pricing. Payment is processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you authorize the charge and, for subscriptions, the recurring charge until you cancel.
Refunds. Static products (Blueprint, Atlas, Constellation Pack, Read+Atlas Bundle, Mega Bundle) are refundable within 14 days of purchase if you have not opened the artifact. Subscription products (Solo, Connected, Couples Pack) are cancelable at any time; the next billing cycle is not charged and there is no proration of the current cycle. Founding-member and lifetime products are non-refundable after 14 days.
Refund requests: email billing@metryval.com with your purchase email and order ID. We process eligible refunds within 7 business days.
The Metryval framework, instrument items, scoring engine, reference centroids, Blueprint narrative substrate, Mara Vidal voice architecture, and all other content on metryval.com are the intellectual property of Metryval Pte Ltd or its licensors.
Your purchased Blueprint is for your own reading. You may quote short passages for personal use (book club, therapy session, journal entry). You may not redistribute the full text, sell access, build a derivative product, or train a model on it.
Your assessment responses remain yours. The framework-validated reference patterns into which we place those responses are ours.
The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Metryval disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will be perfectly accurate for any specific reader.
The instrument is being empirically validated. Pre-pilot outputs are theoretical placements in a framework-validated 19-dimensional space. The pilot validation roadmap is published in our methodology documents.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Metryval Pte Ltd, its officers, directors, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or US$100, whichever is greater.
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you the right to bring an action in your local courts.
Before filing a formal claim, please email legal@metryval.com with a description of the issue. We commit to a good-faith reply within 30 days.
Metryval is operated under the public byline Tomas Cantor. This is a locked pseudonym; the underlying legal entity is Metryval Pte Ltd, Singapore, registered with ACRA and discoverable via Singapore’s business registry. The pseudonym serves brand-architecture reasons (operator-not-expert posture) and is not a concealment device for legal accountability. Legal process is served on Metryval Pte Ltd directly.
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced via the “Last updated” date and, where you have an account, via email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. The P-01 prohibited-uses section is locked and will not be relaxed without a written entry in the Policy Decisions Ledger documenting why all three load-bearing rationale layers have changed.
